AI in Hiring, Lack of Human Intervention Can Be A Challenge

AI is certainly inevitable for the present and future hiring process. The opportunities and challenges concerning AI are hot topics of discussion in HR. 

The U.S. has been encountering a myriad of challenges centered around governance within businesses. The nation relies heavily on technology to deal with the issues. Emerging technologies have been crucial in tackling these challenges. One among them is undoubtedly AI.

The benefits imparted to the HR process through technology are many. However, data from reputable consulting firms show that, as of today, just 36% of global organizations have incorporated AI.

More incorporation will certainty happen in the future. However, total reliance on AI may lead to some unprecedented challenges. 

Most modern managers believe that an application screening system developed using an AI-based architecture would disqualify candidates in the future if they did not precisely match the job description.

There are occasions wherein minor changes to pre-set requirement criteria will be acceptable. However, without human intervention, such a scenario is unlikely. 

AI may introduce biases based on the system. 

The key is still pattern-based data surveillance, so any data that does not fit the pattern can justifiably be disregarded.
