Robotics Expected to Alter Certain Trends in Marine Force

Top marine officials have already finalized plans to incorporate robotics as unmanned platforms or drones. We could expect robot-powered supply lines or robot combats in the future. The future is likely to see robotics as part of lethal missions.

“I think we’re looking at being able to use them for missions to hold them much more at risk and then use robots to destroy other robots; that is where our experimentation has taken us,” said a senior official, Oct 2022.

In the future, robotic and crewless vehicles will be a crucial component of the supply network. Robotics as an active part of the network that would support Marine forces while they fight on isolated islands is undoubtedly a futuristic trend.

Robotics will also involve effective tracking; it will be easy to know where things are required. The movement of goods will also take place effectively in an intuitive way. These robots can also make the process of transferring wounded troops to medical facilities or safe places.

The plans look great, but more efforts must be made toward making robotics a part of such activities. The measures are yet to undergo structural planning and implementation.
