Just Meeting Rooms, launched in March 2023, is rapidly expanding its presence across North America and plans to enter the UK and EU markets in early 2025. Known as the “Airbnb” for professional meeting spaces, the platform offers a capital-light, user-friendly marketplace for renting meeting rooms, accessible via mobile and desktop. Since its debut, Just Meeting Rooms has grown significantly in Canada, boasting over 700 meeting spaces in major cities like Toronto, Vancouver, and Ottawa. It has now extended its reach to more than 50 cities in the US, including Los Angeles, Miami, Seattle, and New York.

Founder and CEO Howard Chang highlights the company’s rapid growth, projecting over 1,000 rooms available by the end of the year. The company’s success is attributed to its streamlined process for businesses to become hosts and for users to find meeting spaces easily. The shift towards hybrid work and the rise of freelance workers have driven demand for flexible meeting spaces, reducing the need for long-term leases.

With strong backing from Canadian investors and support from board members like John Ruffolo, Just Meeting Rooms is capitalizing on its early success to fuel its expansion. The firm has already made significant inroads in the US, partnering with major hosts such as Premier Workspaces in California. The support from prominent angel investors, including Jim Treliving, underscores the platform’s potential in the evolving hybrid and remote work landscape.

The company’s growth strategy involves leveraging its established Canadian model and expanding it across North America. With a team of Canadian-based software engineers, marketing experts, and content creators, Just Meeting Rooms is well-positioned to scale its operations. The model has proven successful in Canada, and the company is now focused on replicating that success in new markets.

In summary, Just Meeting Rooms is set to revolutionize the professional meeting space market with its innovative, flexible approach. As it expands its footprint, the company is poised to become a significant player in the global marketplace, offering businesses and freelancers a versatile and accessible solution for their meeting space needs.
