Sennheiser has unveiled the Accentum Open, a new addition to its lineup of open-style earbuds, blending high-quality sound with an innovative open-fit design. Aimed at multitaskers and active users, these earbuds provide exceptional audio clarity while ensuring users remain aware of their surroundings.
At the core of the Accentum Open is an 11mm dynamic driver, strategically placed just outside the ear canal. This design minimizes ear fatigue and eliminates the need for additional ear adapters or clips. Sennheiser describes the fit as intuitive and comfortable, suitable for extended wear without causing discomfort.
“The Accentum Open is designed to fit seamlessly into your busy lifestyle without adding complexity,” said Sennheiser product manager Friederike Menking. “Whether you’re enjoying music, catching up on podcasts, or staying connected with friends, these earbuds prioritize ease of use alongside superior sound quality.”
The earbuds offer Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with multipoint support, enabling users to switch between devices effortlessly. Integrated dual beamforming microphones ensure clear voice calls, even in noisy environments, by minimizing background noise.
Each earbud weighs just 4.4 grams, making them exceptionally lightweight and comfortable. The Accentum Open provides up to 6.5 hours of playback on a single charge, and a total of 28 hours when used with the included compact charging case. A quick 10-minute charge can deliver 1.5 hours of listening time, ideal for users on the go.
Available in cream and black finishes, the Sennheiser Accentum Open is priced at $129.95 in the United States, £69.99 in the United Kingdom, and €89.90 in Europe. It is available directly from Sennheiser and select retail partners.
